Best situated hotel in venize, with perfekt room, perfect service and an absolute perfect kitchen and bar! Only problem was to make tablereservation in the restaurant - always fully booked. Staged May 12 - May 16. As of february 2023 we have used Danieli for forty years
Make it possible for hotel guests to make tablereservation for dinner

Wonderful staff, food and service Our 'lagoon view room ' was on the first floor so a good view of the quay and the gondolas but not of the lagoon For this reason not giving you a 10/10

It is probably the best located hotel in Venice, with a fabulous terrace for breakfast , lunch or dinner. The view is what is captivating in this hotel , and it’s location, not to mention it’s historical value as well.
Pity that they don’t serve tea or drinks on the terrace floor. You have to go to the lobby to have tea or drinks. The rooms are so expensive! I don’t understand why, it’s a 5-star hotel and not a spa or resort.

Very happy with our stay, would definitely book here again. It was in general a FANTASTIC experience. Views were panoramic. 5 mins walk to the center.

the hotel had terrace.

Thé BEST attention in thé World =) friendly, kind, educated, etc Thé room 87 is thé best in thé hôtel and in most hôtels I know Thé location is perfect Thé roof top view is heaven on earth Définition thé best Way to visit venice!
Probably due to COVID little details such as better and more amenities, infrastructure renovation (of course in thé traditional venetian style please) could be improved. The lovely room 87 decoration is a little simpler and less refined than when I was last there but the perfection of the kind & caring service of all the staff without exception of the hotel largely compensates these little esthetic details inside the room.

The location of the hotel, spacious rooms friendly reception.
The downside is that when you sit in the lobby you have to walk to the bar to order a drink. Given the prices and their status, it is more important to look at the guests.

The location is perfect, right next to the bridge of sighs, close to San Marco square, the hotel itself is great, beautiful buildings, good atmosphere. Room is beautiful, well decorated in traditional style.
The breakfast itself was fine but the space is too small. We also had lunch in the restaurant. Eating was fine but scandalously far too expensive. Staff during lunch was also (a bit) arrogant.
-
Great location and beautiful setting, all staff equally friendly, beautiful view from the restaurant on roof terrace.
Room too small for the price. No coffee machine in the room and no iron. Not allowed by fire department according to hotel staff but I think it is commercial blabla.

I felt like Sisi, beautiful interior and view fairy-like. We really enjoyed our beautiful hotel. Super nice rooms, every day fresh sheets and delicious breakfast. The max. :-) :-) :-)
-
good central location, impressive entrance hall, beautiful restaurant with terrace on top floor, a real palace!.. the check-in took a long time, the rooms are majestic but old-fashioned. Service Ok but everything takes a long time.
The rooms I think too old-fashioned, about price / quality I am not convinced . very old bathrooms, quite a lot of noise when you sleep close to the wall.
-
The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Canale Grande and Santa Maria is really world class!
-
a beautiful hotel, breathes history and staff provides good service but that is also possible considering the price and five stars. Location is perfect. Spacious rooms and bathroom
In the rooms, you can have a lick of paint against a little overdue maintenance. The shower (two items!) could be better. The jet is not perfect and the water not of constant temperature. It is impossible in a 5 star hotel.

It's old, it's traditional. It's luxury (actually not too much, because it's old and traditional :) ).
Don't cry for the money once you've decided to spend it for hotel accommodation. Instead, add some more, enjoy breakfast or dinner at the rooftop restaurant and drink a bottle of wine on the small lagoon-view balcony. Have a drink in the Lounge.

The service was excellent, polite professional and extremely friendly. A first class venue that we would return to.
